Times of peace, prosperity, and blessing can be a wonderful experience for an individual, family, or society, but we can never count on them lasting forever. Hard times will inevitably come. If we know that, how can we better prepare ourselves? There are several places in Bible that provide wisdom and encouragement during difficult times, and one of those places is the small, but insightful book of Habakkuk. The prophet witnessed the decay of his own nation and imminent destruction from the Babylonians. And as a result, asks some very hard questions about evil and suffering in the world. In this upcoming sermon series, we will wrestle with those hard questions and discover again that God is a sovereign God and can be trusted no matter how dark things might become.  He will always be faithful to the covenant he made with his people.
