Missional Movement

In his Gospel, Luke tells the story of Jesus life and ministry on earth, but does not leave it there. The book of Acts is the second part of that story. In Acts, Luke gives the account of how the followers of Jesus, the early Christians, penetrated their pre-Christian culture with the transforming power of the gospel. There was something so attractive about the Christian community that it set them apart from Graeco-Roman culture in which they lived. It was a Missional Movement. In this series, we will explore the way Luke chose to tell the story as the power and beauty of the gospel began to shine in the first century world.
